50 hr service on 3520 eHydro

Check your manual but I have a 3320 ehydro and am a newibe myself but the book only called for an oil change and minor greasing if I remember correctly. I did everything except the hyd fluid and filter cleaning. Only "special" tool I needed was s strap wrench to get the fuel filter off. I believe your 3520 should be very close to mine. Ken's got it right--manual only calls for oil & filter change at this point... if you can add a few inches of clearance you can drain into a bucket...
I went ahead & changed out the front axle & main hydraulic fluid at 50 hours (got cheap/lazy on the $70 filter though
), more for piece of mind about metal "residuals" from the manufacturing process possibly moving about...
For that all you'll need is a set of allen wrenches to take the plugs out, teflon tape for when you put the plugs back in...
While your fluids are draining you may as well pull off the primary & secondary air filters to check for dirt... note if any has gotten to your inner one (should not have). No tools required there, but compressed air will clean up the outer filter if it has any noticeable dirt. be sure your front axle plug is blocking the hole so nothing falls in while you're working above it.
Hopefully you've been greasing the front tie rod ends (when needed) & 3 point hitch on an ongoing basis... this is a good time to completely disassemble the 3 pt arms, clean them, & get fresh grease in them.
Can lube up your chair suspension & rails now too...
Also if you haven't been checking, see if the red ring in your fuel bowl is floating at all... if it is, you need to drain any water out... procedure's in the manual.
This is perfect time to check radiator fins for debris & check battery terminals & electrical connections for corrosion too...
I love PM, and am pretty **** about lubrication, clean fluids & filters, so I go overboard, so take it as it's worth. Technically only an oil change is called for.

Good point on the air filters Brown40. When I said filters I ment the only " filter" that wasn't done was the strainer in the hyd system. Air filters and oil/fuel filters are extremely important. Generally for the cost well worth changeing. I found the inner/outer air filter set up a little pricey but at least clean them out and check them reguarly. An It can not be expressed how important the water seperator is. If water gets to the fuel pump it will cost a lot more money then the time it takes to keep a fuel system clean. I am a bit **** on pm myself as that is my bread and butter. Been in the business of keeping offshore drilling vessels going both semi's and presently drillships for over 20 years now so I have seen a lot of what good pm maintance does for you and the results on ignoring the basics overseas!

I'm looking at my manual and I only see the following:
After First 10 Hours:
* Check wheel bolt torque
* Check cab ROPS mounting hardware torque [Cab Model Only]
* Check windshield wiper arm mounting hardware torque [Cab Model Only]
Every 10 Hours or Daily:
* Test safety systems
* Check engine oil level
* Check transmission oil level
* Check air filter rubber dust unloading valve
* Check radiator coolant level
Every 50 Hours:
* Check front axle oil level
* Lubricate machine
* Check cab protection system mounting hardware torque [Cab Model Only]
* Clean or replace cab air filters [Cab Model Only]
Every 200 Hours:
* Change engine oil and filter
* Inspect alternator belt
* Check air restriction indicator light
* Check wheel bolt torque
According to MY manual, you don't need to change any oil or filters yet. Just check the levels and top them off if needed. Again, according to the manual I'm looking at, you only need to change your engine oil and filter at 200 hours. At 400 hours, you need to replace your transmission oil and filter along with your fuel filter.
With all of that said, I just checked the online manual and it has something that mine doesn't, which is the following:
After First 50 Hours
* Change Engine Oil and Filter
I find it extremely odd that my manual did not have this.
Here is the online service interval listing:
Service Intervals
You will need a torque wrench to check the torque values of your wheel bolts and Cab ROPS (if you had a Cab).
Keep in mind, there are also "As Needed" items that I have not listed here. The service intervals are on pages 46 and 47 of the 3x20 operator's manual. I believe you can also get this manual online here:

I just followed the guidance of the manual... changed engine oil & filter then greased & "checked" everything else.

This has been covered before.
Some manuals have the 50hr service and some don't. But as already stated, it is just engine oil/filter change and air filter check.
But, don't forget to torque the bolts on your loader, if you have one. When I did my 50hr, most of the bolts on the loader had loosed up and took some torque
