50 hr service

Not to hijack one's thread but this seems like a perfect opportunity to ask a few questions.
I just bought a used (2yr old, 280hrs) 4120 w/400x FEL. I bought it from a JD dealer and was told that all the "regular" services had been done. Not knocking the dealer, but they have been so busy that I have yet to get the owners manual, or service records sent to me(they are about 80 miles away). I have had the tractor for a little over 3 weeks and put about 9 hours on it. Am I tempting fate by using the tractor not knowing right now what services have been done? Not that I don't trust the dealer, but would I be silly to simply do a complete 250 hour service on this tractor? Of course I'm not even sure what that entails. I figure I can order the manual from JD. I have lurked here for a while and am impressed with the knowledge base you guys have about these tractors. This is my first tractor and hope to make it last me a while.
BTW, This thing is a BEAST!! It is way bigger than what I originally had looked at (790, 3032, 3038) but figured I shouldn't outgrow it for a while. (all my neighbors are very envious!!)

Take a look at the required service intervals. I just took a look, and it shows the transmission fluid to be changed at 400 hours for your machine, so it looks like you will be OK for a while.
