Really, Will, short of buying something special that will only be used once in a while, the "putting the plug back in" method (using a normal inexpensive plastic oil drain pan) works well- only a few drops spilled. Plenty of room under the tractor without jacking it up. Just takes a bit longer!

1523 and GC only hold 3ｽ gallons of oil (14 quarts). Most drain pans at the car parts stores or even Walmart hold at least 8 quarts. 2 of those would work fine on smaller tractors and they are pretty cheap.
