Has any one put a radio in one of the 5000E cab tractors

We have installed several. Pretty easy plug and play. You just need to install a ground wire which isn't furnished. Assuming that you install the factory radio. Aftermarket radio probably will need an adapter .

I think the VW adapater works? Do a search on here, I believe another memeber has done this successfully.

Mine is a Jensen JHD1130

How do you like that radio? I'm replacing my factory radio and called the guys at Crutchfields trying to find one with the Weather band and that's the series they recommended. They have three different versions with different options.

jensen heavy duty at Crutchfield.com

Thanks!

I don't know yet. I have only had the tractor a few days. The radio is a basic am/fm with weather band and input jack. No satellite radio or anything like that. Seems fine to me.
