5005 Whoa!

Just purchased used 5005 w/FEL- brakes pretty dead. Pulled apart and looks like tractor was parked in a lake for a year. All parts rusted badly, but possibly salvageable. Will order new discs, but how to avoid getting water in here? Vent is clear and lower seal & gasket seem to be correct. Haven't dug into the archives yet, but hope to find info there.

Also, how do I figure out what year model this is?
