All the bolts and filters had marker paint on my kubota from the dealer , The filters had PDI on them

Trade it in fast, I mean really fast, get a different color machine and rid yourself of all tractor issues!!! Whew...

Ditto ... life is too short.

Yep. routine maintenance is one thing, but when you get to a point where the hours of work being done to keep the piece of equipment in functional condition are almost equal to the amount of work the equipment is doing, something needs to change.

Sorry, on a 2013 tractor complaining about your frustration in 2018 is not going to fly far. And your title is * out because profanity is prohibited on TBN. One doesn't use a truck to push piles of dirt and manure, at least no truck I've owned does. Loader bolts loosen as do other things on tractors because of the above, and bolts do stretch during initial hours of use. I do believe that Kioti for instance does warn to check tightness of all critical bolts at certain hours after initial use. I can recommend Kioti as a brand you might want to check out if you plan to buy a different brand tractor. I've owned two and they have been great.

I understand your frustration over the 'porous' rubber radiator hose and battery cable clamp and something else falling apart. Head gasket at those low hours, NO. Not good and probably related to coolant leak.

Your saying your would have replaced it with another model M tractor IF they had responded - I don't get at all?! They did respond numerous times. One more email would have had you stick with M. tractors?

Not blaming you- BUT, I would have been way more proactive in beating their door down through the regional rep and the dealer you like. Or I would have worked out some deal with them on a different model, etc. WAY before warranty end date.

Sorry you lost time and were frustrated by your M experience, BUT it's really up to us as consumers to stand our ground and get the dealer/mfg. to set it right during warranty, or there is no recourse left.

Also note for future reference: TBN does not allow slamming dealers or manufacturers on this site, especially quoting communication between customers and them- due to only one side of any story being presented here, and other reasons stated in the EULA agreement we all agreed to when signing onto TBN. Your title is a good example why this policy exists....

I was surprised to see 14 new Mahindra tractors lined up on East Broadway Mayfield KY at a local lawn mower and chainsaw shop on Monday. All had loaders and were 4WD from large to small. They must be expanding their distribution. Around here they seem to be viewed more highly than some of the China tractors.

C...

I can concede somewhat on the fasteners needing to be checked, but a properly installed mechanical fastener should not come loose. I have serious doubts that anybody climbs under a brand new truck to look for loose bolts.

All the bolts and filters had marker paint on my kubota from the dealer , The filters had PDI on them

I am always aware of bolts, nuts and fittings when operating my tractor. But they need to be checked manually now and then to be sure they are tight. Paint on bolt heads just means an inspector was aware they were installed correctly at the factory. Does anyone really know if a painted bolt head is torqued correctly out in the field unless a wrench goes on it?

I'm at a bit of a loss as to what you expected the CEO to say. It looks to me like he wished you well but you took that the way you wanted to take it.

BTW, do you really view a tractor as a toy?

Well, you can see that it has or hasn't turned. And if it hasn't turned it probably is still holding as good as it ever was. Unless you're dealing with some super-critical part, I'd say "bolt not loosening up" is adequate. But everyone has their own level of concern on this and I'm sure people will be along soon to tell me the error of my ways...

I would be curious to see the Dealer's Preparation checklist?? You might ask for that next time you visit them?? Assuming Mahindra does such a thing?? Might be interesting to see how many of your problems were the responsibility of the dealer to check??
