The M7060 calls for hydraulic filters to be changed at 500h. First time they are changed. Then to re use the oil, change at 1000. Using Premium UDT (canadian sudt) so apparently the japanese know best.
However it was slightly alarming to see this much metal on the magnets!

i let the oil settle in the container i drained into overnight and got a bit more sediment out of it.
I'm not a mechanic by any means and have been around airplanes most of my adult life so this is a bit different than what i'm used to seeing!
Fuel sediment bowl also had some gunk in it, it's doing its job.
Next biggish task is to replace the boot on the shifter rod. Lots to take apart to get at it and a fair bit of rust thanks to the salty northern roads.
