The M7060 calls for hydraulic filters to be changed at 500h. First time they are changed. Then to re use the oil, change at 1000. Using Premium UDT (canadian sudt) so apparently the japanese know best.
However it was slightly alarming to see this much metal on the magnets!

i let the oil settle in the container i drained into overnight and got a bit more sediment out of it.
I'm not a mechanic by any means and have been around airplanes most of my adult life so this is a bit different than what i'm used to seeing!
Fuel sediment bowl also had some gunk in it, it's doing its job.
Next biggish task is to replace the boot on the shifter rod. Lots to take apart to get at it and a fair bit of rust thanks to the salty northern roads.

Good work man. I just did my 500 hour service on my B2650. Felt good.

In an effort to save on manufacturing cost, Kubota has eliminated all washing operations after machining. You're tractor was $69.94 cheaper because of it.

While many will say it is normal and not worry about it, I'll bet their Kubota's internal work procedures call out for better cleaning. Have to wonder about Kubota's quality control sometimes.

If someone says it's ok, volunteer to add it to their transmission or engine.

I change oil when specified... Kubota builds a decent machine.. but in my opinion it痴 a light weight tractor. The overall experience I致e had is ok but I won稚 buy another. This example of the oil filters ... makes me question several things about the overall quality. Just my 0.02 cents.

500 hours on my little B. Not one problem.

Snowblowing 150” of snow per year (5 seasons), and clearing/burning brush and firewood all summer long.

Yes, I’d agree “a pretty decent machine”.

That’s what I thought, all filters at 50 hours. (Also engine oil and filter)

Imho a bit over the top but, I did it.

Bought the last of 4 filters for my rtv, $27.00. Hard to pay that when a Fram is about $8.00.

For what it worth, the prices at my local dealer were about the same as Messicks in PA.

The hydrostatic trannys kick up a lot more wear material, my RTVX1100C showed noticeable improvement at the 50hr tranny filter change. My M7060 just has gear box with wet clutches. However it would hurt nothing to change the hyd filters at earlier interval. Only engine oil and filter at 50 hrs in owners manual
