TBN Gang,
This site has been so helpfull for me. I read all the Posts on a regular bassis. Yup, Im addicted!
Quick History- Bought a used B-2400HST a year or so ago. As much as i love this little Tractor, i need something much stronger/bigger.
My property is covered with Brazilion Pepper Trees (Very Invasive Shrub/Tree) Cabbage Palms and various Oak Species.
With the B-2400 i am able to up-root the smaller ones with the FEL (No Toothbar) up to 6-8 inch Diam.
Personally i feel the L39 would be the perfect set-up, dont think i could live without the HST Tranny though?
The L5030 HST is my next choice. Has anyone used a Grubber Bucket to remove brush / small trees? Also, is there a Ripper/Blade for cutting roots that attatches to the FEL?
Is the 5030 to much Tractor for 28 acres? I dont want to make the same mistake twice.
After clearing the property for some pasture and more building sites. There will be Bushhogging, Tilling, Plowing,Dirt Work and mowing. Perhaps some "Side Jobs" also.
If there is another Model that looks like it would be up to the tasks at hand 3830 or 4330 please comment.
SkyPup and CT Tree Guy have me all fired up on the 5030!
Thanks for thought or comments.
