509 Backhoe

Has anyone used a different brand bucket on their 509 or 511 Backhoe?

I need a 12" bucket for a LONG waterline install and a new Bradco is over 1k.

Wondering if a similar size bucket would work, aware that connection may have to be modified.

Just looking for a less costly solution :confused3:

Do you need a bucket for a backhoe you already have? Or do you need the complete backhoe? I here good things about Wallensteins. I don't know really. B.

I've got a 12" bucket on order through Mahindra....they are showing a list price of $650 for a 12" bucket for a 595...I can't believe it would be significantly different for a 509/511, but I'm sure Dave can tell us (part number ATI110012, Ref number 0519M00).

Just priced a 12" Bucket thru 2 different dealers- $1K+!! The manual thumb was a grand as well!!

I can convert one to work for a lot less, Wondering if any one else has??
