Be sure it really is low. When I pull the dipstick on my B7510 the first time there is no fluid on it at all. When I re-insert it and pull it again the fluid level shows up on the stick. My guess is that the dipstick tube gets airlocked over a period of time and won't let the fluid back in until I pull the dipstick and break the airlock.
Also, it is extremely difficult to see the fluid because it is so clear. On my dipstick it is as clear as water so I have to hold it at the correct angle to even see where the fluid is on the stick.
