I use Kirkland HDEO 15w40 and Mobil 424 on mine. I also purchased petroleum dye (red) so I can see the hydraulic fluid level in the sight glass.
I like the idea of the mobile 424 a lot. How much dye do you add?

This stuff is much cheaper, is also red in color, and will do about 15 gals.

You can even see it on dipsticks too!
Well it's cheaper because its smaller and treats fewer gallons. I used a tiny portion of the above for 10 gallons, instructions state .25-.50 oz for 50 gallons. So each bottle has the potential for 400-800 gallons :)

I use synthetic oils in the engines 5W-40 either Rotella T6 or Amsoil.
For the hydraulics/transmission fluid most quality multi-purpose fluids will work good.
I'm using a synthetic blend as my power shuttle wouldn't allow the engine to crank and start
in cold weather, Cen-Pe-Co multi purpose.

Very little. I bought a 4oz jar and I think it will last me years.
This is what I got a little pricey but I was extremely frustrated trying to see the hyd oil so I pulled the trigger.
And without this the only way to tell is by the “water level” line right?
