...I wanted the light to come on with the headlights...

You might want to reconsider this, because when you are on the road you probably don't want the rear worklight on. It blinds and confuses cars behind you.. and I think in most states it's considered illegal. OTOH, if you never go on the road, it's moot.

Excellent point Bob /w3tcompact/icons/clever.gif! I never go on the road, if I did by some chance it would be in the daylight with the flashers going. Looking at a trailer down the road to avoid that type of thing altogether. Used to have to drive the family's tractors from one spot to the next when I was young, nothing I care to do now /w3tcompact/icons/tongue.gif! I did find that aux. plug Jason mentioned, so if the load is too much with the newer lights, I will convert to a switch on the separate circuit. Thanks for the thought though!

nhman & Other B7500 Owners - I picked up a pair of 50 watt bulbs at the local AutoZone Store, and installed them in my B7500. They give pretty good light in my opinion. I ran them for about 10 minutes tonight and nothing burned up (yet). I could not find "Nightblaster," "Pro Series," nor "Optronics" at this store. The bulbs that I bought are Blazer Hi Intensity, 50 watt (incandescent) MH1C for $1.99 each plus sales tax. The receipt shows them as #004327 MH1C. I found that it was easiest to change the bulbs by looking in through the lens (with the lights off). You can see the tabs, which way to turn the socket, and tab line up is easy. Should I develop any problems, I will let you know.

I just bought a set of those also and haven't had a chance to play in the dark yet. For those chasing bulbs for your headlights they are the same as an automotive "1156" bulb.

Hey b2400

I found a set of 1156 sylvania bulbs at Advance Auto, but they do not list the wattage. I could not find any of the other referred to in the thread. If they are 1156, they will be 50watt?

thanks!
