5105 Price Check

Guys I'm in the process of buying a tractor and came across this tractor. Is it a good price. The tractor has: 187 hours, 50 hp, MFWD, warranty until 7/25/07, synchro, 16.9-28 rears, 9.5-24 fronts, Ag tires. Price is 21,500. No loader but I would ad one. It seems like a decent price doesn't it.

John Deere Equipment Configurator prices that tractor out to $24014 new, so it's basically around 10% lower than new list. Not an outstanding price on a used tractor, in my opinion.

How many SCVs? Joystick for the loader is about $1000, so it adds up. Where are you located? Try Machinefinder.com and search for a 5105, there are a number of low hour machines available.

I paid $17,500 for a 5205 this past January with 210 hours, with the loader it was around $22,500.
