- Kubota B8200D; JD 5205 MFWD w/522 Loader
The 5205 has a sync-reverser, but it was not designed to shift on the fly. Your dealer should have explained that to you. It would be nice to shift on the fly, but that has not hindered me an any way doing the work I want to do. It's great for loader work, which I do a lot of. The more you operate your tractor the more you will like it.
The 522 loader does have particular pin connections specifically for the 5105/5205. The 522 is a super strong loader and will lift the back of the tractor off the ground before you know it! It will lift even more if the pins are not in the correct holes. Good thing you caught that.
Go ahead and attach something and get busy using that machine! It was built to work so hook up a box scrape or bushhog and drag some dirt around or run over some small trees. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Get a tooth bar for your loader if you are going to be digging, etc. Makes a big difference.
BTW - We're still waiting on the pictures! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
