The bucket end of my cylinder broke off! Is this reparable? I don't want to fork out $ 2000 for a new one.

If your a good welder, that is an easy fix. Extend rod out so you dont damage the seals. Preheat the rod to 400 degrees and weld with a 7018 rod. Protect rod from splatter. Or take it to a welding shop. That rod should be $1069 dollars from Deere, I just bought one back in the summer for a auction tractor I bought, with a bad cylinder.

We were able to weld it back together. Hopefully it will hold!
