Recently purchased 5210 tractor. hydraulic fluid was low but tried to move tractor a very short distance. tractor seemed to stall. is this a factor of low fluid level?

you might check fluid levels for sure, might be that the filter needs changed. If that doesnt' help, have the pressure checked. I had some problems with my 5300 when it was hot. the oil would bypass a valve and would have a pressure drop. Was replaced under recall.

I filled hydraulic to full level, did not seem to change, seems like there is a parking brake or something dragging on tractor. not familiar with smaller tractors, maybe with a shredder and loader, it is too much load. was told by mechanic to loosen bleed valves on brakes, have not had opportunity to try this yet.
