Couldn't possibly be worse than the Ford loaders over the years. Try doing any engine servicing, much less work with those things in the way. I have 3 Fords and none have loaders for that very reason.

I have never seen a Branson 8050 without a loader,
and very few pictures of one without a loader there is one on this forum as can be seen the frame rail is very small and everything is acessible.

Now add a loader frame and it is gone, removing the loader will not make much difference unless you were to unbolt the entire wrap around loader frame.

Lou, I thought the one on my 4815 was bad. Holy cow, I think I would have to rig up a longer dipstick and install a tube. Should not be difficult to modify something. That is just ridiculous. :laughing:

I agree. I will never complain about my hard to get to dipstick again. A Branson engineer should get a 'D-' for the day he approved that design. Can you add something to it to add to the length? And maybe add a larger diameter tube to guide it down to the original hole?

I would cut cut the top off and weld an extension on it, than you can reach it easier

I have thought about adding a longer tube and lengthening the dipstick, which would probably be the best way,
but I am more likely to lengthen the handle end of the dipstick.
But it will have to be a nice cold day when I have the material on hand and I've had to take my gloves off to check the oil level and not much going on. :laughing:
