I dont.
I did my 50 hour service recently and used just about all 10 gallons of travelers that I bought. Recently I noticed that I don’t see any fluid in the sight glass even though it was over the red dot at the time of service. The other day I got a stiff pedal issue, both F and R, that was remedied by letting the tractor rest a while. I also noticed that the dust around my PTO looks wet, like a possible leak. I have no drips, no leaks, no obvious loss of fluid. If I park it rear downward on a hill I can see fluid. This morning I started the tractor on level ground with the bucket and the 3 pt all the way down and engaged the pto, tractor standing still, no fluid in the indicator. Thoughts? Fill it up with the bucket and 3pt extended, clean the pto area and monitor the sight glass to see if I have a leak?

Any chance of it being overfilled and the level is above the sight glass? It's very hard to see when the fluid new and clear.

No, the fluid is dark when it’s in the sight glass, not clear like the factory fluid was. I can see the contrast when the rear is downward and the fluid is obvious.

If you can see fluid in the glass with the rear end down but not with the tractor level, the fluid level is low.

Engaging the PTO will make the gears churn up the oil. That's not good for getting a reading. The PTO clutch uses a miniscule amount of oil. I check it with the engine off and loader and 3pt down. Raising the loader or 3pt will lower the level in the tank by the amount that the cylinders take up.

I added a gallon which got the sight glass up past the red dot. I also cleaned the pto area thoroughly and will monitor to see if there are any changes.

Early on in my ownership of my 3520h, I knocked loose the hydraulic return line that's under the tractor and spilled an unknown amount of fluid... looked like a lot, it was quite a mess.
I couldn't see anything in the sight glass, so I put in more fluid. And more... and more... and finally realized it was possibly overfull in the first place.

I'm surprised your fluid is dark - did you put something in it to color it? Mine is clear and nigh invisible.

I used to have a 3510i that had a hard to read hyd oil sight glass, so I added some colored red dye to it and it fixed the problem.
It was easy to read after that !

Nothing added to the fluid. It’s travelers from Tractor Supply, has a dark tint to it. Ran the shredder yesterday and it was leaking from the PTO seal. It’s at the dealer now. Waiting for a call after they “diagnose”. I’ll be quite irritated if it’s not fully covered.

This is the stuff I use:

it's very light gold when you look through a lot of it, and I can't see it in my sight glass.
