For a small uncut radius (26" if I remember correct)
I use the 35D w/84" MMM and SS , this is a real nice set-up
and can trim better than my 110 Deere w/ 38"
mower.
Also mows and cut looks better than the L2900 w/
72" woods RFM.

I agree with Tres Crow. Go with the bigger deck. If time is important to you it will cut your time quite a bit on that deck. Also like has been said the anti-scalping is nice as well.

I had a John Deere 318 with 50" deck for many years. I now have a Kubota BX2200 with 60" deck. My vote goes to the 60".

I have a 4010 with a 60" deck and I have had no problems at all. The HP is adequate for the size and it is very well built. I mow ditches as well as other uneven ground and have had no problems with scalping. I would reccommend going with the 4110 only because of the control you have with the rockshaft lever.

It was a tough decission, just about a toss up between the both.
Here are some basic comparisons:
Weight - about the same - no advantage to either on
HP - 2210 - better for larger mower deck / PTO implements
Hyd - 4010 - better for Hyd implements, larger FEL load capacity.
Size - 2210 - a little smaller - better for my purposes

Overall - for my small piece of land, and the fact that I will probably use the MMM more than anything else the 2210 was better for my particuliar needs. I think if I was expecting to use the FEL more, I would probably have picked the 4010 over the 2210. It would be very easy to just go the bigger is better route, but You have to realisticly look at your current, and planned future uses and make your decission based on that.
