540 RPM PTO @ 2600RPM

I believe the hour meter always runs but the rate at which it runs is linked to RPMs. It's based on an average RPM of 2200 at which it runs exatly as a clock hour. Below 2200 it runs a little slower and above 2200 a little faster.

Ahh there is a label that says 1000 rpm but the lever is blocked no 1000 only 540. on a CK30

I believe an hour meter records how many hours the engine runs regardless of RPM.

Actually it's as I described above. Just checked the manual to be sure.

Nope, I have the options of 540rpm or 1000rpm for the rear pto, there is also a seperate option for the mid pto.

Thanks

They use to be but are no more. Most all the models have switched over to the new design where they read true hours no matter what RPM's are set to. The CK25's & 30's have always been setup this way, most other models now have this electronic setup as well. Atleast this is how Kioti Service explained it to me one day when I was talking with them, but they could have been wrong. I have never put a stop watch to it yet.

Jon,

I believe you are correct. The latest version/revision of the CK25/30 manual (courtesy of KJ) states:

<font color="blue">1.The hour-meter indicates, in five digits, the hours that the tractor has been operated.
Records the hour, and portions of the hours that the tractor has been operated while the engine is running. Its operation is not based on engine RPM, but is electrically determined.

big tractor...... here's what the Kioti website states for the 1000 rpm PTO:

<font color="blue"> Power Take-Off

Rear PTO Speeds(1st) 540 rpm
Rear PTO Speeds(2nd) 1000 rpm - Optional
Mid PTO Speeds 2000 rpm - Optional

The 1000 is indeed an option, but the only difference is that there is a metal block that keeps the lever from going to 1000 RPM. If one had a need for the 1000 RPM, one would only have to remove the lever guide and then the block. Just look down into the lever guide and you can see the metal block if you have a CK25/30. At this time, there really are no implements available to us that use 1000 except for gray market stuff. John
