Hello,
I own a 5400 JD. I am having a problem cranking the unit. Last time it was ran was May 07.
At this time it will just turn over with no attemp to fire. The fuel level is good, I have drained the fuel filter, and have bled the fuel lines. I loosened one the fuel injector, turned the engine over and got no fuel. I manually primed the fuel pump, fuel is getting to the pump, but not the injectors.
When I unsrewed the bleeder screw, I did not notice how far in the screw was screwed. It has a nut behind it that lets in go a certain distance, could this be my problem?
Should the fuel injectors be getting fuel when the ignition is tuned over?
Thanks for your help
