I have a 3 spool valve hooked up thru the power beyond port which I use for my t-n-t. It has been installed for a couple of years and has worked perfectly until lately. I was moving some gravel using my FEL and box scraper and noticed that when I adjusted the T-N-T it moved like it was in slow motion. After awhile it would not move at all. I could drop the top link down due to the weight on it but it would not lift. The FEL hooked up to the Mid SCV still worked as it should so it wasn't the hyd. pump. Fluid level was good. So, the 2 mid mount remotes work great but the 3 rear ones are dead for no apparent reason.
It seems as though the spool valve is defective or blocked. The sticks move fine but there is no noise, line jump or any sign of "life".
Anyone that has any idea where to start looking please let me know. My inclination right now is to replace the spool valve but I don't want to spend the money if that's not the problem.

Have you notice any fluid leaking anywhere, for you might have a small hole which could be sucking air in...did you tighten all connections.

Thomas,
I have not seen any leaks and the thought that this is acting like an air lock crossed my mind. I might try bleeding the line(s) just to see if that helps or changes anything.

Here's a couple more checks that come to mind...

Is the tractor engine loading down at all when you move the remote spool? If it's an open-center valve, moving it off center should cause the engine to load unless there is a substantial leak. If your remotes are hooked up with quick-disconnects, take all the disconnects loose and try the spool valve. If the engine loads, the problem is probably not in the valve. Also, I always worry about the pressure bump/build-up you get when a cylinder is fully extended or retracted. If your system relief valve is higher than the capacity of your control valve, it could surely blow the seals.

Sorry, I'm not really much help, but just a couple of ideas to think about...
