5525 is in the house!!

ddivinia, did you buy the LVB25712 rear wiper washer kit and install it yourself or did your dealer do it? If you did it yourself, how complicated was it? Did it come with clear instructions? I'm think about adding that to my cab as well.

I had the dealer do it. I also had them install a cable for my IPOD - well worth the headache.

How do you like your FEL? I did not spring for one on this tractor. I did have them add a grill guard after I was mowing a corn field and the stalks kept opening the hood.

Did you get the standard or the delux SCVs? I am not 100% sure of the difference - anybody know?

I've only used the FEL a couple times and it's definitely more powerful than the 460 FEL on the 4610. The joystick arrangement is very comfortable to use. I ordered 2 standard SCV's rather than the deluxe 3 SCV package. With the deluxe set, you can adjust each SCV for standard, detent, or continous flow operation. Not something I felt I needed. But knowing me, I'll buy something with a hydraulic motor and wish I had bought that option.

What all can we set the standard SCVs for? I was using a JD 8200 planter the other day and my valves didn't seem to extend in both directions - only one. Is that adjustable?

No adjustments on the standard SCV's. Push or Pull the lever until the cylinder is where you want it then let the lever go back to the center position. That's the only option. Check your hose connections to make sure they are on the same spool. The connector covers are marked "I" and "II" for SCV 1 and 2.

Man I love that tractor. That is what I wanted but went with the 4720 w/o a cab. Had to get my wife use to the idea I have a tractor, maybe in a yr or two I'll get one like yours.

I did the exact same thing, I got a 4720 first. Then my wife "got it' that I needed a bigger one ot pull a bat-wing, etc. The 5525 with cab rocks, but I still use my 4720 as much or more because it is so handy.
