567 Baler is here!

The 567 baler finally showed up today. Looking forward to putting it to work with the 3rd cutting of Alfalfa!

That is a sweet baler, will produce some nice bales, pics are a must when being used.

Thanks. Its a 2001 model, was traded in on a 569 model at the dealership I bought the 5093e from. Bought it for $5950 and had them run it through the shop. They replaced chains and sprockets that were wore or getting slack (including the big chain), checked and replaced bearings as needed. I told them to replace what was needed, I didn't want to bring it back to the shop. The baler has 30k bales through it, but came from a custom guy who took really good care of it. No dents, paint is good as you can see, a few minor weld spots down around the pickup area but all in all I'm pretty satisfied. There is even a moisture tester on the baler with a hand unit.

Repairs came to $2200, so I've got $8200 into the baler. I do only 100 bales or so a year, so it should last me as long as I want to bale.

Good lookin' baler, they do make nice looking bales. You do know that you gotta do something with that one wheel.:laughing:

Yeah, even the sales guy was disappointed in the white rim. We'll be on the look out at farm sales to replace it....

Wait until you see the absolutely perfect bales that will make. The first few don't count.

Thank god for that, mine look like a funnel (can't seem to chase the bars fast enough on the monitors, my sweeps left to right and right to left are too slow.)

IMHO $8200 is dirt cheap especially compared to NEW price. The fact it doesn't have surface wrap affected it's resale value.

Why don't you pull up the correct channel on the monitor and change the bars response speed or rake a bigger windrow?
