I agree with Ken. Bob Goltz is as straight forward and honest a person as I know. Technically, he is as good as they come. You won't get double talk out of him and he gets things done.

No organization is perfect but Montana strives to be the best they can be and they do a great job.

I did one of these forward/reverse syncros about two months ago on one of my customers tractors. You have to tip the cab up to remove the transmission. It took my mechanic about two days, I highly sugest changing the clutch while you have the machine split. Montana has an updated heavy duty clutch and it is not too expensive.

Well I spoken to the dealer again today. The part arrived Friday of last week, and I was told I would have my tractor by this week. (Week 9) Well wrong part again, I do not know who is at fault and I don't really care at this point. The dealer said it may be another month, so they are sending a loaner tractor.

I emailed Bob Goltz today and informed him of the situation, I guess we willwait and see how Montana responds.

Bob Goltz called me to inform me that he had spoken with the dealer, and that my tractor should be deleivered shortly. A few days later I received a cap and shirt from the Montana Warranty Dept. I did receive my tractor the next week, and it works fine. The Sync shift works fine, and I sure did appreciate having my tractor back. The loaner was a 4340C and It was just not big enough for what I needed and I did not care for the design of the FEL controls.
