I would recommend the 5'. My personal opinion the five would be the best fit for a 22 hp. tractor, overall with high, thick, or wet grass, and cutting 'quality'. It is easier to keep your rpms up with the smaller one, also check the weight and make sure your tractor 3 pt. is capable of lifting the wieght of the mower. Good luck!

Since you are talking finish mower, I would have to say 5' max. You need to keep your rpm high enough to keep up the PTO speed. If you don't keep the blades turning fast enough you will not get a nice even clean cut.
If we were talking a shredding/rough cut/deck where looks were not the object of the mower, I would still have to say 5', bermuda can be a very thick, heavy mow during certain times of the year in Texas, even running blades of Costal Bermuda can slow down a good cutter.
