Also agree. But I do not use 5w-30 anylonger, using 0w-20. I would not have an issue using a C rated oil in a gas engine.

to be honest , I wouldn't either.

you look at the big guy, Rotella, and it is a multi fleet oil,carrying both S and C certs, even though it is primarily intnended for diesels.

I wonder if most of it aint hogwash.

the starbust thingee means it meets ILSAc specs I believe
