60\" KK Tiller for a 2210

Got in a bind today and had to have a tiller. Decided no more use than it will get, King Kutter brand and pricepoint would work for my JD 2210. Problem was dealer only had 60" in stock. Actually said 48" were special order and end up costing more anyway. So I brought it home with option to return if too big. I live in central IA and our soil is clay/gumbo. Will my 'lil Deere handle this size??Ideally I suppose it would be better suited with a 48" but will the 60" work? Anyone with this combo please share your experiences/advice. Thank you

Re: 60\" KK Tiller for a 2210

I was thinking the 2210 has 23 hp. If that is true I think you could get by with it. I have a 755 with 20hp and I use a 56 in. tiller and get along real well. I till a lot of clay where I live. I just go slow and sometimes I have to make a second pass for depth. I have always felt that a tiller works better at a slow speed anyway.
