Kioti CK 2610
I am looking for a 60 cutter for my new Kioti. I was contemplating a finish mower as I will mainly be cutting lawn, maintained trails and field grasses around my acres of trees. Feel better going with a rotary, just in case.
Which model gives the best quality cut? I assume blade speed comes into play here??

None of them give a really great cut. The ones with 2 tail wheels will help improve the quality of the cut but it won't look like a subdivision lawn!

I would go with King Kutter with the Flex Hitch if you are not going to be mowing much rough stuff.

No subdivisions within 50 miles!

Looked at a Tarter square back at TSC, not super heavy duty, but I think it work work.

I find that if you keep the blades sharp they will do a pretty good job on grass if not to tall and mower is fairly close to ground . I have had a bush hog brand 6 ft. and now using a 5 ft. landpride . The RCR landpride will cut closer to the ground than the bush hog did . If cutting hay for example forget about a lawn looking appearance with a rotary cutter. The bush hog was a heavier duty unit . I do need a larger unit for my M5700 though . A finish mower will do a better job for sure on grass.

You can't cut tall 3 foot grass and leave it looking like a lawn with a bushhog but you can't with a lawnmower either. I'm amazed at how good of cut my landpride 8 footer gives if you just slow down a bit and cut it like a lawnmower would, as in from 8 inches down to 4. Looks plenty groomed from any distance. Of course as the blades get dull the cut goes downhill but so do the lawnmowers. I compared it to a SCAG turf tiger as far as cut goes and the Landpride did very well against it. Not as good but closer than move folks lead you to believe.

I have a 6ft Landpride finish mower that does a great job with my lawn. When grass gets thick and tall (over 1 ft) it bogs my tractor down a lot. Almost makes me wish I had more power... :)

A five footer would do better, and in heavy fields, probably the bush hog is better.

I have the county line 5 footer. It is fine for what it is. It will go over a 1.5 inch tree just fine. It is light duty. I mow horse pasture w it. Does just fine. I would not want it if I mowed for a living.
