Deere's attempt to use a General Motors 2 cyl. diesel.

My 435 runs just fine with that Detroit Diesel power plant .46 net HP on the PTO at 540 rpm.

They used the same engine in their small crawler. The machine vibrated so much you couldn't keep gauges in them. The little Detroit would run forever, if you didn't lug it and kept the oil changed.
