spent the morning pricing 3 tractors.priced the 6 model for $74,000 w/o a loader priced the 5m 5105 an 5115s for $56,000 an $62,0000.im thinking we will go with the 5115m for $62,000.

The M is a bit smaller machine than the 6d series. The 6d's are a no frills tractor though and only come with a 9x9 trans. the m's will have several transmission options. What are your intended uses?

we are in the process of finishing the deal on a 6105d cab 4x4 setup for fel.the fel will be added at a later date.itll mostly be used as a back up baler tractor right now.depends on how much dust we want to eat.

Congrats, I really like the 6000 series Deere tractors. Are you trading the 7040 or is this an additional tractor?

no this is my brothers tractor.he is the 1 that swares by jd.the kubota has a home even if i decide to get another tractor.talked to a buddy last nite that likes green.an he said like vme that he wouldve looked at a kubota because of the jd price.an me id called the deal off because of the way the dealer treats its customers.im used to the dealer giving you a full tank of fuel.but not this dealer,they said they would put half a tank in it.i yell them full then the guy says if you pay for the rest.then he says thats their regs.if it was me id said that reg cost you a sale.an go to another dealer and or brand of tractor.but its my brothers deal an he wont walk on things like that.

For the price of these tractors the dealer shouldn't even bat an eye at a full tank of fuel but that's not always the case unfortunately.

i ran the kubota in the same size as the jd.an the 110 kubota was 110hp an 96pto hp. an cab made up like the jd was $70,000.but i feel kubota would be as cheap.

So when is the 6105 coming in? Id really like to hear how you guys like it. I really think I need to move up a frame size for my needs. I atleast would like to get 90-100 at the pto instead of 70.

we got it in monday.an havent had time to put it to work.may put the renovator on it this friday an go work up the hay meadow some.size an weight wise its a good tractor coming it at 12000lbs.

it came in at 12k unballasted? Or did it have fluid and weights? That sounds like a huge jump from my 5083E!

the 12k is bare tractor weight no front or tire weights.an no filled rear tires.

no we wont fill the tires or add weights as its heavy enough for what we will do with it.the only added weight will be from the fel if we ever put 1 on it.going to try to take it out sunday an run it some.

Hey bull, where did you get the 12k weight at? I just looked at JD's website and it says the 6130D and 6140D are both at 9300lbs roughly unballasted?

My 6125R weighs 12,059 lbs unloaded, I have both rears loaded and I have the loader and it weighs 14,582 lbs.

the salesmen at our dealer said it weighed 12000.so taking his word for it.

JD 6105D 9390lbs from the website for a 6130D or 6140D no specs on the 105 but i'm assuming it is similiar.
