Rotary Cutter 617 Hyd. Cylinder removal

NH 617 disc mower, trying to remove Hyd. lift Cylinder. the pin at the top ties in to the spring slide on opposite side and I have tried all my tricks and can not get the pin to slide out. Any body had this issue and a good fix? I can spin it about an 1/8 of a turn but won't go any more than that, and will not come away from the frame to get a bar in there.

Any updates. We're you able to get off we have same issue. Keeper removed. No bolts we can see to keep it in place.

So, I am asking the obligatory stupid question. Do you have all of the spring tension off?

Did you take the lock ring off of the spring swivel so you can access the end of the pin?
