On CNN... 62 yr old man in Miami Airport gets upset with the Security and drops his drawers and asked: "is this good enough?"......

Knowing our Guv, they will probably charge him with something... indecent exposure? assault with a deadly weapon? a concealed weapon?? being of sound mind?

Bet Leno has fun with this one....... Tom

Well, it was just a matter of time given the way the foolishness is going at airports under the guise of security.
My 5 foot wife was singled out to have her purse dumped onto a table at Cincinatti because she appeared to be a terrorist after clearing security and sitting there waiting half an hour for the plane, and is still pi**#d because nobody bothered to look at the 2 travelers wearing diapers on their heads. Then again, that might account for why Cincinatti failed to detect in 68% of the FAA tests.

Franz, Don't put too much faith in any airports, even ours here in Rochester. We went to Fla. in April and my wife went thru 3 different x-ray check points on our trip with a 8" exacto knife in her purse. She is a graphic artist and uses it almost every day at home or work. So she thought nothing of it, and forget it was in her purse. We didn't even know untill we got back home. This thing is solid medal, with a 2" blade that is razor sharp! So I think all the airports have problems.

Just wait for the copy cats to jump on this one..... Could rival the streaker fad that happened back in the late 70's/80's......

Signs will be next... No shoes/ no pants/ no fly

... and yet my wife has been caught every time with her dull, unpointed sewing scissors ....

Our local radio station had a woman on, who was either a stewardess or pilot, commenting on the security measures. She told of an incident where a US Marshal went through security with his gun, which he has papers allowing him to carry. The security screeners still took away his nail clippers.........insanity!

Von, odd you should mention the Rochester airport, where I drop the Terrorist and pick her up 5 times a year.
A couple years back I dropped the Terrorist on a Sat afternoon, and paid $7.75 for the half hour of free parking.
The terrorist has a way of getting me to lug her "carryon" to the counter, and then to the concourse (who decided to call it that anyhow), where I had come to rely on my inability to get thru the metal detector to get me free of the airport.
That Saturday, the Terrorist did her 'my puppy got run over by a truck look' and the IDIOT manning the checkpoint advised me I could accompany her and wait with her. I explained I couldn't get thru the metal detector due to a government sponsored collection of scrap metal I carry around, and the IDIOT assured me it wouldn't be a problem.
After emptying all metal from my pockets, I got to assume the Jesus on the cross position, and was rescanned the third time. Then I was patted down. I was almost beginning to think there might be something to airport security in Rochester, as there had been back in the 70s, when I displayed scars to corrispond with metal detector hits.
After satisfying his job requirements, the IDIOT returned my pocket contents to me, including 1 VERY LARGE BUCK KNIFE.

My sister used to do a lot of flying for her business. She's commented many times on the "goofy" things that she sees when she's in airports or on the planes.

The one that always cracks me up is you know how the airlines said no more metal silverware with your in flight meals (gag!)? She's on a plane the week after they start flying again, and they serve her meal with a plastic fork, spoon, and metal knife - all wrapped up and sealed in the same plastic bag! /w3tcompact/icons/eyes.gif Go figure!
