My dad and I spent the last two days tearing down Pto clutches and gears. Once we had every thing apart we noticed that a gear that drives the transaxle was getting destroyed. There was big chuncks of metal in the bottom of the pan. My two year warranty was two weeks past, so originally the dealer was not going to back it, but know they are going to come out to the house and look at it on Monday. I beleive that there is a modification that they need to do. I will know more after Monday, but it does look like it will be covered. I will give you more info after monday.
I loved the tractor until know. You cannot beat that cat engine. It has alot of torque, maybe more torque than the tractor can handle. I will make that decision once I know more, but right know I think I will try to trade it in after it is fixed. If I trade it in, I have a cub cadet snowblower that I bought with the tractor. I only used it once two winters ago. If I sell it, you can look at the snowblower if you would like and make an offer on it.
