62X on 2305?

Hi folks. First, I would like to say thanks for all the great reading over the last month or so. I went through the struggle over should I buy the X748 or the 2305. Lots of good arguments here. It came down to the FEL capacity. We are trying to fill in a large hole on our land and people are dropping fill off. Someone dropped some larger concrete blocks that made the decision easier!

I just ordered a 2305 with FEL and a 62" mower deck. After getting home realized that the order states a 62X instead of a 62C. I was wondering if there is a difference or not?

Now just going stair crazy waiting for delivery....

Yeah, I thought so too so I called and asked. The reply was "The 62" is the newest model deck. The 62X is exactly the same as the 62C, except it has a wash port added to it."

Sounds pretty cool if the scoop is straight. Guess I will find out in a couple of days and let you know.

got my 2305 in April, the x I was told was for the installed garden hose adapter to clean the deck.... havent used it yet tho.. anyone else try/use it? kinda scary to have a hose hooked up to spinning blades of a mower at speed.

Well, got my little beast Friday and mowed mowed mowed. 6 acres total of some pretty hilly land.

Used the washout. It has a quick connect coupling that you put on your hose, snap it on the deck, start the blades and wow. Total power wash underneath.

Toady is FEL day with lots of piles of rocks and dirt to fill some holes. Cant wait to go play after breakfast. Yahoo!
