if you break the back chain its a pain to get back together, the cover is under the pump and hydraulic steering setup, if you can turn the wheels and both turn then something is loose in the drive, the motor runs thro a gearbox, the drive sprocket has two sprockets one for front and one for rear,
if the wheels spin together its something in the gearbox, could be a keyway
if you go to the Bobcat site and look up parts, select your serial and model you will find all the part and assembly drawings, will show you how it is put together
