how was the leak determined was it visable was there fuel in the oil or was it pulled and the crack found just wanting to know what to look for

/ 6430 performance question #4
I was not the owner when this happened. I did get the service records when I bought it used.

They state: customer says leaking fuel on engine.
"Tech steamed engine to find leak. Found #2 injector leaking at cap area. Replaced Injector cap. Recleaned. Tested"

Parts listed:
1 RE531438 kit $6.94
1 TY26101 brake/clutch ( I am guessing a spray brake cleaner) $4.94

Labor @ $69.00 per hour:

2 hours repair
.75 hours diagnose

Hope this helps. Leak must have been visable, Nothing about diesel in the oil, don't know if Injector was pulled.

I hope I have no need to worry, I'm having delivered on Monday, the new 6330 I bought, not a premium but pretty premium to me compared to my old 630 2 cylinder!! I'd get sick if an injector acted up real soon.

It had to be a hickup 10 hrs on tractor since then smooth as silk. must have been trash. I love this tractor it thinks it is 150hp It does so much more than it should. Ive been told it should not pull a 21ft disk with 20" blades. It does in c range with no problem it pulls 12' bog 30" blades dealer said it would not do that. 9" chisel with 32" teeth you cant pull that boy this tractor does i think you will be very happy. Pound for pound best tractor i have had.

That's quite a move up! I got a 6X15 series which is the economy version of the 6X20 series and its PREMIUM to the 2030 it will replace.

115 HP is a lot of ponies out of a 276 cid engine. Type of soil has a lot to do with ease of tillage. I wonder if it will be be capable of pulling a 5 bottom moldboard 10 yrs from now. My neighbor has a 6715(414 cid) MFWD that will stall out pulling a 8 shank Hay King pasture renovator.

Our 11 ton model payloader uses this engine at 140hp. The engine weight of this four banger is still more than a 5.9 Cummins six pot, so nothing to worry about.

My neighbor has a 6715(414 cid) MFWD that will stall out pulling a 8 shank Hay King pasture renovator.
Depends what gear you put it in....

The field in the picture has really good soil. It had not been touched in about thirty years. the ih 710 plow pulls really easy. in that field i can run c/2-3. I did a field for a buddy of mine it was the hardest clay ive seen in a while. I had to run b/3-4 c range would not doit. I pulled his john deere 5 bottom it did not turn as deep and felt like it had a sixth bottom. My hats off to jd for such a well ballanced tractor. I hope to still be pullin plows with it in ten years my red neck dream is to be cuttin hay with krone big m 400  "ill have to win the lottery to do that"

Yes, sir - that's a beautiful lookin' area! Must be all the rain that won't fall in west Texas falls on your place!

Lotta power to the ground and no duals or even a dual tire on the offset side! Great tractor...

Hey drkllr, what neck of the woods are you from? That's some nice looking WET/DAMP soil. Ours is dry as a bone. We have cracks already. Not planting a garden this year except a few tomato plants and onions.

Enjoy that machine.

Brucew44guns: I think you'll be amazed at what adding a "3" into your tractor number will do...630 into 6330
That's got to be one of the biggest "move ups" I've read about on here.
Did you get it yet? I'll look for a thread.
