Yeah I understand.. Like I said, that was the absolute 1st time I've seen that on a CAV/Delphi pump & I've been doing this for a VERY long time..
Its also intersesting that U KNEW the drive plate letter.. & it wasn't given in the test/calibration spec sheet..
There was a service bulletin along time ago stating that MF no longer requires CAV/Delphi to add the drive plate letter in their spec sheet..
BUT "I" always set it anyway.. just incase the mechanic had lined it up when he pulled it off {timed it}..
It would be an unwanted/uncalled for mess if the pump was timed w/ the drive plate letter & it wasn't set after a rebuild..
& the customer "TRIED" to time it using the out of place C-Clip..

I知 only guessing at the actual drive plate letters. The letters I致e guessed were provided in the manuals I have. Here痴 to hoping the letters are the same!
