Hey I seen a Satoh 650-G on my local dealers web site It is in decent condition haven't got to go look at it yet . They want $2,500 for it with a Woods RM59 rear finish mower Don't know HRS. Is this the 650-G a good tractor ? Is there an major problems that go wrong with these tractors?

What do you have in mind for this 22.5 PTO hp tractor...

It will make a great mowing machine...

from your picture... the style looks ~~late 60's-early 70's vintage...

I'm on my second one and the hydraulic pump went out, and now the carb is acting up... my first one I had to rebuild the governor...

buying parts through normal channels is almost prohibited... $800. for clutch disc, $1100. for hydraulic pump, $1500. for carb., $1200. for governor crankshaft... (not misprinted prices /w3tcompact/icons/eyes.gif)

But all in all... I like it ... she's a can do machine for her size...

Some people pay $2400. for a garden tractor that can't compete...

If I get it I plan to add a loader later on!! But for the most part I plan to use it for mowing , blading, bush hogging. But I don't want to buy a tractor that will be a problem all the time.

One question , Does this tractor have a single or dual stage clutch???

The tractor you are looking at has a single slutch, not dual stage. While John is correct that parts for this tractor can be high when purchased though the Mitsubishi distributor, we have sourced many of the parts elsewhere and have more reasonable prices.
