6500 Watt Generator - Real Craigslist ad?

Just started looking for a generator.
Need one that can start a well pump (say 1-1/2 hp, 240V) if necessary.

I don't have a good idea what the used market is. Does this ad seem real?

The phrase "Honda GX390 OHV Engine which provides a longer life and improved fuel efficiency" seems like it's lifted from a website.

Since that probably came from Sam's Club, it is probably legit. However, for the difference in price, I would be tempted to go new: Black Max 7, / 8,75 Watt Electric Start Gas Generator (Powered by Honda) - Sam's Club You then know how it has been treated and you get a warranty. The other one doesn't say, but this one is electric start.

It's NOT a Honda generator, it's a generator with a Honda motor...

I don't know, it says "serious inquiries only". That sounds serious and not a person to be messed with.

I'd say that price isn't out of line.

I bet the ad is ligament. I can relate,,,I just upgraded my 19 year old honda 6500 genny to a new honda 7000 inverter-genny and am trying to figure out an asking price for the old one. My first thought was $880
