So I just learned today that Mahindra doesn't offer the 75B backhoe anymore replacing it with the 65B. I can't find any details or specs on the 65B to compare it to the 75B. Does anyone have any info on the 65B? I know they're all Bradco backhoes so which of the Bradco backhoes is the 65B vs the 75B?

Paladin Attachments - 365-Backhoe is a link for Bradco 365 backhoe. I do not know how that relates to a 65B, but Bradco and Mahindra both change model and sizes they build/sell from time to time. Probably due to sales volume and sizing the hoe so it won't tear the krap out of the tractor. I have a Bradco built Mahindra 595 on the back of my 5035.

I have a 2555 with a 75B. Here are the specs I found, as you can see the 75B has a substantial advantage over the 65B

When we bought our 2555 we were told the 75B was not made any more, so don't ask. The biggest problem with the 65B is swing speed, its down right dangerous and their is no valve to slow it down like the 75B. Other than that it is a nice unit. The Boom cylinder rod is the same diameter on the 65 & 75 but the dipper cylinder rod is smaller in diameter. Ive never used a 75B but the 65 has very decent power compared to our Kubota BH92. The 65 is built out of A514 high strength steel the 75 is not. The Bradco 365 operator station is similar to the 65B but the boom and dipper are physically bigger. The 65 boom is a curved excavator type boom which makes it easier to load trailers or dig closer, deeper. The 65 is mounted tight and high on the 2555 which makes for great break over angles. I'm 6'2" and I can't reach the top of the backhoe when its on the 2555. Just some thoughts.

Bradco. They say it's the simplify things, I just think they just wanted a cheaper back hoe.
