I have a Ford 3000 gas. when its hot out the engin stalls and wont start till it cools down 10-20 min, also when its running agian when its hot out side there is a smell of raw fuel but no signs, any ideas
i had a similar problem out of my 4500 and what seem to fix it was rebuild the carb. I got the kit off ebay for less than 40 bucks. When i took the carb apart what i call the plunger was gummed up. I could be using the wrong term of what the part is called but thats what it looked like
The carb was replaced new year ago, i did open it up, cleaned out checked float/valve all working, nothing sticking, on the fuel pump it works when i checked it cold, is it possible that when the pump gets hot it stops working?
