I have done a lot of shooting and handloading. But, what is 7.62x45?
Dont feel bad, I had to look it up too.. apparently when the iron curtain came down, some of the czech vz52 rifles and quite a bit of ammo came in, but the supply has ebbed and flowed, and now seems to be drying up. 7.62x45 is obviously just a lengthened 7.62x39 round with a little more power but still in the same class.. the rifle looks a lot like a SKS, but is not the same, It is considered a little better design and build quality than the SKS. Most of the rifles went out of service in 1957 or were converted to 7.62x39.
That is about all I have found out about them so far, except Soundguy has one
When I come across a rifle/cartridge I have never heard of, I just gotta know:laughing::laughing:
