7 Foot Bush Hog

I bought a six footer and I always wish I got a 7-footer but I never even thought about it 8 foot dual spindle I just didn't have the money to go bigger than a six foot

Had a neighbor with one. A gigantic hog for what it cuts. Way better off buying a twin blade of the desired size. Keep in mine that the larger the mower, the easier it is to scalp and mis on uneven terrain even though you can cut more per lap.....and if 3 pt, your tractor has to have enough weight up front to keep the tires on the ground....remember the foot-pounds load on the 3 pt and tractor front end.

Bush hog has made them for a while, I see a lot of them for sale with the left gear box bad due to the cost of that special box.

I've had a Rhino SE7 for about 20 years. It's a "medium" duty cutter. The current model is the 200 series. I run it on my 70-90hp tractors. In my opinion, it's built too light for large tractors, and it's too heavy for smaller tractors. I wouldn't buy another one. Second time I used it behind a 90hp tractor, I folded the tail wheel up. Had to cut it off and replace it with a much heavier tail wheel assembly. Warranty wouldn't cover it. Rhino said it was abuse, not covered by warranty. I say it was poor design. Bottom line for me, I'll never buy another "medium" duty anything.

I wouldn't recommend using a 7' single spindle cutter on your 43hp tractor. At the least, you will prematurely burn up your PTO clutch. At the worst, you may destroy your transmission.

Since they say "performs best in grass-only applications" right up top in their product description, this must be closer to a finish than a rotary cutter. Sometimes that's just what someone is looking for, a finish mower with a tall deck to handle more grass bulk.
