Hi all. I just scored a new to me 7' back blade on CL. It's a hyd. tilt and hyd. angle Woods model. It's pretty heavy 1010lbs. Now to my question, is this to much BB for my (47hp) Ford 3000? The guy I bought it from and a couple guys at work say its to much BB for a cat 1 hitch. I have to add remotes to run the unit and and I only want to put them on one tractor. I can easily add the remotes on my 4000 but then it becomes a problem of taking off the BH everytime I want to use the BB. I never really thought about it being to much for the 3000 but now they have me second guessing myself?

Your 3pt lift capacity is 1700lbs @ 24", so you are going to be close to your limit when working the blade. If the blade hitch is a cat 2, then you should bush down the clevis pin size and that is always no fun.

All things to consider. Good luck and nice find by the way.

Thx. Brian. I'm gonna give it a try and see how it goes on the 3000. I've been very lucky lately, CL has been good to me.
