I have the manual at home, not sure if that info is there, but I'll look later for you...go ahead and pm me if I forget.( my brain and I are getting old ).

A friend has a model 70 loader on his JD790 and he's indicated that the loader will lift around 700lbs on his tractor.

If I were a bettin' man, I'd place my money real close to that figure --- give or take a few pounds.

I have a JD 770 tractor with a 70 FEL. It has a 700# lift cap.

Nice to have the figure of 700 lbs but is that off the ground or at full height?

I found this on the net was hoping to get something comparable for my 855....

70A loader on 955, Lift capacity;
At 18" (450mm)-1450# (659kg)
At 36" (900mm)-1230# (559kg)
At 72" (1800mm)- 895# (407kg)
At full height 77"(1955mm)-930#(422kg)

I told my wife the capacity of the 855 should be about 80% of the 955
as the rear lift is 785 lbs and on the 955 its 957 lbs..

Now I just have to figure out to to get a a snowblower shipped from NH to Ontario... Since the dealer down there can't or won't... And the next job is to find a cab.. There was one on ebay but the guy wanted way to much... it was disassembled was missing a couple pieces and had a cracked windshield and he still wanted a grand for it..

That's at full height, it's alot more at ground level.
