Are the belt issues why you weren't fond of the 62? Curious, because I don't know what's not to like about the 62D.:)

Greg
Yeah. Having never thrown a belt in my life, and throwing 4 in one season; that's enough to piss anyone off :). First one ill credit to dull blades and just running it... Like I always did. Second one, I dunno.. Possibly wrong belt from JD. Third, right belt from JD... Under 3 hrs of mowing time. 4th was done aftermarket brand... Lasted like 7-8 hrs. Finally for the 5th belt, I got one like 1 1/2 - 2" shorter than what I needed.. Tensioner had brand new spring after first belt went, but belt would stretch, and it ran out if tension, would go.

This one shows good after 15 or so hours, tensioner all good. Plenty of travel left. So like I said, I think I've got it sorted out, but not swearing by anything...

Also, from past experience, the 72's clean themselves out a lot better than this 62 does. It needed washed out all the time or I'd have grass clumping and almost burning along side the blades.. Just didn't like that idea. I mow probably 3.5 to 4 acres, and any time saved is great.

Thanks PCABE5. Looks a lot like a 62C, just heavier duty. The gage wheels are similar to the 62D. Do the rear wheels pivot 90 degrees to allow you to pull it out from under the tractor?

Would this one fit your needs? I don't use a MMM any more because I bought a 72" F-935 front mower at an estate sale. And, I got an 84" rear mower for field work. The extra width gives you more 'reach' around trees and bushes that the tractor wheels interfere with.

I'm a little east of mid-Michigan. I have all the brackets and covers, etc. Its in pretty good condition. Has been sitting in the back of my machinery shed for 8 years or so. I have the belt drive covers off to show the underlayment.

The wheels do pivot. The wheels are different than my old 62D.

Those pics help a ton, but I'm still having some difficulty after I got the attaching parts.

Any chance you can take a measurement between the rear pickup points on the mower?

Mine seem too wide to fit with these brackets.

Thanks a bunch

I'll take some tomorrow.

The model number on the label says, 72" deck 4115. As the deck is only compatible with the 4115, 2520, and 2720. Will probably fit the 2032R as well. Owners manual is OMLVU14211.
