72" quick tatch bucket

Radman, my 72" materials bucket measures 24" high and 24"-26" deep depending on where you measure to at the back of the bucket from the front edge, It does seem like your right in the middle with that machine having 12 more H.P. than the 4310 but only a slightly bigger frame. does the 72" standard and HD buckets have less volume than the light materials 72" bucket? if so then the standard or HD 72" should be good for your tractor. But 485 pounds sounds high, how much can the whole loader weigh, two guys can move it around. 485# would reduce your lift capacity which is only about 1500# for the 300cx on a 4310, does the loader get a higher lift rating when mounted on the 3720? are you stuck with the SS system or was it your choice? good luck. more pics attached.

I notice in your pictures, your 72" bucket has the standard JD attachment. My CUT has the skid steer carrier. The recommended bucket for the skid steer attachment seems to be significantly different than yours and much heavier in weight (485 lbs). I don't know for certain but I would guess yours weighs less than 300 lbs. Thanks for the pictures.
The loader lift rating is the same for the 300cx regardless of which tractor it is on. The SS system was my choice. I already have SS hydraulic PHD, pallet forks and grapple and am fabricating a snow blade with SS attachment. For me the SS system is a must. I never thought finding a lighter duty SS bucket would be the difficult part. The JD foundry bucket still seems like the best choice for size and weight. I will probably also explore options from Kubota and NH (will need to repaint green or black).

Finally ended my bucket problem. Went to Kubota/Woods dealer and bought a 66" woods round back bucket with SS mounting and weighs just under 270 lbs. Had to cut the mounting slots slightly larger since the locking pins on the JD SS carrier come in at an angle and the slots were not quite larger enough. enough. Did try on the Kubota standard bucket and it fit right on. The Kubota bucket however was smaller in overall size and capacity and the Woods seemed to be a better fit. The Woods bucket is 23" high by 24" deep with a capacity of 13 cu ft. The woods is black in color and won't need to be repainted.
The sales guy said Woods actually makes Kubotas heavy duty round back bucket.
