72" toothbars

The main advantage of the style with the lip under the bucket is that it gives you a "flat-bottom". This is beneficial if you do a lot of backdragging.

And I am no expert and I have not actually used either style, but just looking at them and the design of the teeth, I cant help but think the "flat-bottom" style wont dig quite as good. But that is just going off of looks.

Personally, on mine, I just bought direct bolt on teeth. 8 of them was only $70 delivered. And while I cant remove them quite as easy as a tooth bar, they are still removable. But I dont ever see me taking them off. And I know they arent as strong as a tooth bar, because they dont add that second cutting edge for strength, but my loader isnt exactally a super strong loader. And I have yet to have any issues.

The two reasons I went this route were because of existing fork pockets in the corners of my bucket (for lifting logs and such), and price. I just could't justify $300 for a tooth bar that I would still have to modify to make work.

Where did you find the bolt on teeth? I have a Kubota MX5100 with the LA844 loader and the HD roundback bucket. It has pre-drilled holes in the bucket for a bolt on cutting edge and I was wondering if I could find bolt on teeth that would fit. Any help would be appreciated.

I got them at augerteethonline.com

They are listed under "bobcat-style" teeth.

Bobcat Bucket Teeth

I am not sure if the bolt pattern is right for you to be able to just bolt them on. You could probabally call them and see what the bolt spacing is.

Or If you want, I can take some measurments when I get home from work thsi evening:thumbsup:

Thanks for the place to look. I will check with them and then take my measurements. I would really like a rezloh bar, but they are oh so expensive.

That is why I went with these theeth.

I just couldnt justify a $300+ bar.

I think I got 8 of these teeth delivered and it was right around $70. And with them being bolted on, I still have the option to remove, just not as handy as a bar.

And IF I break one, it is just as cheap to replace the WHOLE tooth as it is to just replace the tip on one of those bars:thumbsup:

So far, in about a year of having them, I have yet to take them off. But If I were in a situation where taking off and putting back on were very frequent, I'd probabally get the bar.
