I have the pto clutch out of my 720D for rebulld because it would not snap into place. I took off all the clutch disks and brake disk , and all were very worn with no more facings facings and I ordered replacements. My questions are......
1) Do I have to remove the clutch cam and disk, since this is on the clutch shaft which is pressed into the bearing, and the cam it self, is under a lot of pressure secured with a snap ring? What would go bad in this that would require removal or replacment?
2) At the top of the drive disks after the plate goes on, and before you put the snap ring in place, there is a washer shown in the parts book. My clutch assembly did not have that washer when i took it apart . On some pictures I have seen , I saw two or three washers in this location. What is the procedure to determine how many washers are needed when reassembling?
